The Series I is a smaller bodied guitar designed so the neck and body meet at the 12th fret. This repositions the bridge towards the center of the soundboard producing a bright resonant tone. It also gives the guitar a compact ergonomic without crowding the fingerboard as a shorter scale length would. The laminated sides allow for light bracing on the top and an active back construction. The Series I comes equipped with the Halo bolt-on system to aid playability throughout the lifetime of the instrument.
